Jeremy Torgerson

Jeremy Torgerson

CEO | Managing IAR

Jeremy Torgerson began his career as a financial advisor in 2008 with Edward Jones Investments.

After a decade as a small business owner, Jeremy decided to switch careers and serve the investing and financial planning needs of other small business owners and working families. In 2008, he moved from Colorado to Los Fresnos, TX, to begin a new branch office for Edward Jones. In 2011, he formed his own investment and planning practice called, "Palo Alto Investments", and in 2015, Jeremy reinvented Palo Alto into a fee-only, fully fiduciary (and very high-tech) firm called nVest Advisors.

Jeremy moved his family and business from Texas back to his home state of Colorado in 2017.

When he's not working on financial service needs of his clients, Jeremy runs a financial and success blog called "Think Like A Rich Guy", and he and his wife co-author a new blog on having a successful marriage (they celebrated their 25th in December 2018), called "Go 25 To Life".

Jeremy takes his enthusiasm for helping regular people succeed with money, and shares it as many places as he can. He's been quoted in more than 30 publications, including CNBC, TheStreet, Nasdaq, the Chicago Tribune, Money, Investor's Business Daily, and was recently a featured financial pro for Investopedia.

Trained as an actor in his youth, Jeremy also occasionally works in local theater, independent film, and as an Audible book narrator.

Jeremy and Kari live in Brighton, Colorado with their grown children, his grandmother Elizabeth, and their Schipperke puppy, Ripley.
